Delicate silk and natural linen, finished with natural lacquer over their intricate grain to create unmatched durability. Lacquer, nature’s most durable natural varnish, imparts antibacterial and antifungal properties to the fabric, maintaining its original shape through hand washing at home as well as strong ironing.

Moreover, the subtle scent of lacquer has a natural insect-repelling effect, elegantly reminding us of the practical wisdom of our ancestors and monks who wore lacquered garments to keep summer pests at bay in modern life.

This jacket is particularly crafted from a special silk fabric called 'Subansa,' produced by artisans in Sangju, South Korea.
